Kids for Earth (K4E) would like to invite elementary school-aged children to join us at the K4E Community Garden at the Hillsdale Public Library. We will meet twice a week, on Thursday morning at 10:00 am and again on Sunday afternoons at 5:00 pm. Drop in whenever you can! Those joining us at the garden will be able to learn from the Kids for Earth leaders about gardening, plants, beneficial insects, and more. The children can also help with planting, weeding, and harvesting. This is a great way to get your kids to try new vegetables and herbs, too!
Kids for Earth is an organization dedicated to learning to live sustainably, and then taking action and adopting this sustainable lifestyle. We believe in the science and symptoms of climate change. We also believe in being part of the solution! Following Gandhi’s path, we choose to be the change that we wish to see in the larger society. The Kids for Earth Mission: To raise awareness to help adopt a lifestyle that incorporates today’s natural resource challenges. We teach children how to live sustainably in modern society.
