Storytime

Research shows that reading to children has many benefits, including building vocabulary and reading skills, enhancing social and emotional development, and encouraging lifelong learning, empathy, and self-esteem. So start your children’s journey to a love of reading at the Hillsdale Library.

Our schedule is as follows:

  • Toddler Time: This is program is geared towards children 18 months to 2 ½ years with a caregiver and is limited to Hillsdale cardholders. The sessions will take place on select Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
  • Tales for Tykes: This program is for children ages 3 to 5 without a caregiver. This program is open to all and takes place on select Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m.
