Homebound Delivery Service
The Hillsdale Free Public Library provides a free delivery service to residents of Hillsdale who are unable to visit the library due to illness, disability, or lack of transportation.
Through the Homebound Delivery Service, participants will have access to a wide range of materials, including music CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, magazines, and, of course, books. All residents of Hillsdale are entitled to a library card. Through the library’s membership in the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS), the library is able to obtain materials from any of the more than 70 member libraries.
The library intends to provide such service once or twice per month. Participants in this program will not be held responsible for overdue fines; however, other policies regarding lost or damaged materials remain in place. Participants may request items via telephone or through the online library catalog.
To request home delivery, complete the form below. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be contacted to confirm and set up service.
