Homebound Delivery Service

The Hillsdale Free Public Library provides a free delivery service to residents of Hillsdale who are unable to visit the library due to illness, disability, or lack of transportation. The library intends to provide such service once or twice per month. Participants in this program will not be held responsible for overdue fines; however, other policies regarding lost or damaged materials remain in place.

Participants may request items via telephone, fax, or through the online library catalog. All residents of Hillsdale are entitled to a library card. Through its membership in the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS), the library can obtain materials from any BCCLS member library. The library provides access to a wide range of materials, including music CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, magazines, and, of course, books.

Complete and submit the information requested below to request Homebound Delivery Service. A match will be made between a library volunteer and a program participant. We’ll contact you within the week to confirm and set up this service.
