Due to a delivery problem, we delayed the kaleidoscope activity by one week.
We will be constructing kaleidoscopes using nothing but cardboard tubes, plastic petri dishes, some hot glue, and your hand-selected “gems.” The secret to the device is mirrored plastic.
Materials:
- mirrored plastic sheets
- cardboard tubes
- cardstock paper
- petri dishes – clear
- plastic gems or other small colorful items
Connectors:
- tape
- hot glue
Tools:
- scissors and/or x-acto knives
