A collection of works created by One River School’s advanced teen students are on exhibit in the Meeting Room in June.
One River School of Art is proud to present Mixed Media, Mixed Minds, an exhibition that celebrates the boundless creativity and talent of its students. This dynamic showcase features a diverse array of artworks, highlighting the many mediums the school’s students have explored and perfected. From painting, to drawing, and everything in between, each piece reflects the unique perspectives and artistic voices of talented young creators.
Throughout their journey at One River School of Art, students have honed their skills and deepened their understanding of various artistic disciplines. Guided by our dedicated teaching artists and supported by our comprehensive curriculum, they have cultivated both technical expertise and creative confidence. This exhibition stands as a testament to their hard work, passion, and commitment to the arts.

Founded in 2012 in Englewood, NJ, “one river” west of New York City, One River School has embarked on a mission to “transform art education” in America. Today, our innovative program teaches thousands of students in fifteen locations across six states, including Allendale NJ.
The company has developed a unique method for teaching art and digital design classes to people of all ages. Very simply, One River’s students have more fun, learn faster and produce more compelling creative outcomes. Our teen programs focus on the technical side of art while allowing space for imagination to flourish. Young adults come to One River not only for the supportive community, but also for the professional guidance from our teaching artists to produce comprehensive, college level, portfolios. Teens in our advanced classes have the highest acceptance rate to the top art schools across the country.
Our state-of-the-art facilities create an aspirational mindset that inspires our students to tap into their creative spirit. And, our proprietary/original lesson plans allow us to facilitate an educational experience that is differentiated from anyone else.
One River also produces exhibitions from world class contemporary artists, which allows us to be the voice of contemporary art in our communities and to enhance our ability to “teach through the lens of living artists.”
