UPDATE: 9/18 The driveway is closed. Please enter the library parking lot from Hazelwood Avenue. The barrier is removed for egress to the library. The entrance on Yessler Avenue is CLOSED.
UPDATE: 9/17 The library will be open on Wednesday, September 17. The contractor was able to address the south side of the library roof on Tuesday.
UPDATE: The library will be closed on Tuesday, September 16. We anticipate that will be the start date for the roof replacement project.
Please be advised that the library roof will be replaced in September 2025. The exact dates will be updated as soon as we have more information. There may be a one or two day closure for safety considerations.
