A New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) program
Did you know black bears have been sighted in all 21 NJ counties? Do you know what to do if you encounter a bear in the wild?
Residents are invited to attend this free program given by NJDEP Fish and Wildlife. The program provides an overview of the natural history and biology of bears in the Garden State. Practical information as well as tips for coexisting with bears will be addressed so that bears do not become a nuisance in the neighborhood.
Registration is required.
The Hillsdale Library offers free programs to the community with funding from the Hillsdale Free Public Library Foundation and other generous donors.
