Volunteer – Start a Book Club
Who: Someone with a passion for books and reading with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What: This person will coordinate the selection of books and cheerlead the interaction among participants. Some research will be necessary.
When: Book clubs meet during regular library hours, once a month, on the same day and time of the month.
Where: There are several locations in the library where book clubs could meet, depending upon group size. The meeting room, storytime room, and main floor share space are the primary locations.
Library Support: The library staff will assist in acquiring the books within the library system (BCCLS).
