Drop off American Flags at the Hillsdale Free Public Library for disposal by the American Legion.
The American Legion’s General Leonard E. Wood Post 162, located in Hillsdale, maintains a drop-off box in the foyer of the library. Bring in faded and worn American flags during library hours, and you can be assured that disposal will be proper and respectful. Post 162 regularly holds disposal ceremonies as outlined by the American Legion’s Unserviceable Flags Ceremony.
