Used Books+ for Sale
Buy used books, DVDs, CDs, and puzzles from the library!
As you enter the library, check out the bookshelves on the right for items for sale. These gently used items are either discarded from the library’s collections or donated. You can pay for your selections at the Children’s Library circulation desk or the 2nd floor main circulation desk.

Donating Books to the Library
Please call the library (201-358-5072) before bringing books to donate. Because we have limited shelf space, it is important that we discuss donations.
Books should be in good shape (gently used and free of stains and mold), and in general, the copyright should be within the past three years.
Of note, the library does NOT accept the following:
- Reader’s Digest condensed books
- National Geographic collections
- Encyclopedia sets
- College textbooks
Please note that donated books that are accepted may be added to our collection or to our Used Books for sale.
