The Bergen County Cooperative Library System started building its own eBook collection in March. This represents a departure from DigitalLibraryNJ. Hillsdale Library cardholders will no longer be able to access DigitalLibraryNJ as of February 2013. The BCCLS eBook collection, eBCCLS, will serve only the 74 libraries within BCCLS and we will have greater control over the collection. We hope this will help resolve some of the long waits for items in DigitalLibraryNJ, which serves 5 other library systems in Northern New Jersey – an additional 1.4 million people. Users of DigitalLibraryNJ are encouraged to begin placing requests only in eBCCLS.
