
Exhibits
Exhibits of artwork, photographs, and collections are welcome at the Hillsdale Free Public Library.
The library’s exhibit spaces include the Meeting Room Gallery and three Glass Display Cases, both located on the library’s 1st floor. Generally, exhibits are on display for one month, so there is always something new to see when visiting the library. Links to posts about current and recent exhibits are provided below.
Interested in exhibiting at the library?
Following are the steps to apply to exhibit:
- Review the library’s Exhibit Agreement.
- Complete the Exhibit Application form below. Your application will be reviewed and the Library Director (or designee) will reach out to you about potential dates and logistics.
- Provide the following information to obtain final approval to exhibit. This information will also be used to support exhibit promotion.
- A statement of theme, description of style, and/or description of collection
- An artist’s resume or biography, and artist’s photo
- Representational photographs or images of work
- Confirm installation dates with the Library Director (or designee). Removal dates will be arranged at the end of the month.
- At or before installation, sign and submit the exhibit release form. See Exhibit “A” in the Exhibit Guidelines. You will be provided a hard copy of this form for signature.
