The Library seeks adult volunteers to tutor other adults in English as a second language (ESL). The Hillsdale Library is a supporting member of the Literacy Volunteers of Pascack Valley. As a volunteer you will be trained at the Westwood Public Library and provide one-on-one instruction at the Hillsdale Library.
The next four part Tutor Training Workshop is being held on Tuesday Sept. 16, Tuesday Sept. 23, Tuesday Sept. 30, and Tuesday Oct. 7, 7-9:30pm. Please call the Westwood Library to register (201)664-7597.
