Want to play Pokemon with friends? We will be playing twice a month if there are enough players. This club is open to grades 5-12. You must bring your own deck of cards or DS.

The 7th & 8th grade book club will be discussing The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin. Copies of the book can be picked up at the Hillsdale Public Library or at George White. Funding provided by Friends of the Library and the GWFFA.

Sports are an important part of many peoples’ lives – either as fans or players. As we head into March, I like many others, become swept up into the madness of the NCAA basketball tournament!
Check out our booklist featuring athletes and the display on the third floor. Many of these books tackle tough subjects and are best suited for mature readers. More themed booklists can be found on the Hillsdale Library’s Pinterest page – take a look!
MAKERFAIRE IS MARCH 21, 2015 – GET MAKING!
The Library is pleased to host the second annual “mini” MakerFaire. Hillsdale residents or Hillsdale Library cardholders are invited to make something and exhibit at the MakerFaire. Cash prizes are available and will be judged by the crowd. Please review the registration form for details. HERE. MakerFaire is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
The Hillsdale Library has also been designated a hub site for New Jersey Makers Day, which is also Saturday, March 21, 2015. We will be demonstrating some of our toolsand also leading several hands on “make” activities. More information will be released as we approach Makers Day.
