Ex-Yankee Slugger John Malagnone and author Michael Harrison visited the library to discuss the book “Pinstripes and Penance”. John gave up a promising career as a Yankee catcher because of a childhood trauma that haunted him most of his life – until he was able to get the help he needed. A fascinating, gripping story. The book is available at the library.
