American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang tells three stories in different parts. The first story tells of the monkey king, who struggles to be a leader. The main story tells of Jin wang, and his way to be liked at his new school and avoid racial stereotypes. The last story was about a teen named danny who’s chinese cousin Chin-kee comes and ruins his school reputation. I thought the book was okay.
