I Shall Seal the Heavens is another one of the major stories amongst the Chinese-translated web/light novel community, but it’s popularity so far doesn’t compare Coiling Dragon; few can. He was poor, had to sell his ancestral home in order to afford an education, and he was in debt to his teacher. While walking in the mountains, actually ends up being kidnapped and brought to the Reliance Sect where he is basically forced to fight or die and has to learn Qi Condensation (a Chinese cultivation story)
