An interesting Chinese-translated light novel about a student named Mu Chen. In a world where power is revered, the goal among cultivators is to be chosen by the Sovereigns to partake in a trial by fire on the Spiritual Road. Throughout history, only the strongest emerge from the Spiritual Road, but in the first time in history, someone was ejected from the Spiritual Road before the 10-year period was completed. No one knows exactly why Mu Chen got pushed out of spiritual road (besides the people actually chosen to be in it), so they choose to believe that Mu Chen was sent on the Spiritual Road by accident and it should have been someone else. This is his story.
