Community CPR is offered by the Hillsdale Volunteer Ambulance Service. This is an introductory course
designed to prepare a citizen to take the initial actions that might save a life. It will cover “compression
only” adult, child and infant CPR, care for obstructed airways and defibrillation. There will be practice
time on our manikins.
This program does not include a certificate. If a participant wishes to take the full certification class
there will be an opportunity to sign up at the end of the session.
We will also discuss how prompt and effective CPR saved the life of Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills.
The lead instructor will be Rick Savino, a long time EMT and a Hillsdale Library Assistant.
