Series begins on March 7
Andrea returns to the library-back by popular demand! Try this gentle yoga class, your body will thank you! Please bring a mat, a towel, and blocks if needed.
In gentle yoga, the movement is slow. Each movement is linked with breath and we enter the posture gradually, moving into each pose first and then finding a holding position. This preparation and fluid entry into postures protects and nurtures joints, muscles, and connective tissue.
This class is an accessible and inclusive practice suitable for just about anyone—beginners, seniors, and those recovering from injuries and illness. If you suffer from anxiety, high stress, trouble sleeping, or just need some well-deserved “me time,” come and join us. Our instructor, Andrea, has been teaching for more than 10 years. She is a Yoga Alliance Certified instructor and has certifications in yoga therapy and prenatal yoga.
Sessions will be held on Fridays in March from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. You must register for each session individually. Wait lists are available for sessions that are full.)
