Four-week series on Wednesdays begins on March 4
Try this gentle yoga class, your body will thank you. Please bring a mat, a towel, and blocks if needed.
In gentle yoga, the movement is slow. Each movement is linked with breath, and we enter postures gradually, moving into each pose first and then finding a holding position. This preparation and fluid entry into postures protects and nurtures joints, muscles, and connective tissue.
This class is an accessible and inclusive practice suitable for just about anyone—beginners, seniors, and those recovering from injuries and illness. If you suffer from anxiety, high stress, trouble sleeping, or just need some well-deserved “me time,” come and join us.
Andrea, who has been teaching for more than 10 years, returns as the instructor. She is a Yoga Alliance Certified instructor and has certifications in yoga therapy and prenatal yoga.
You must register for each session individually. Valid Hillsdale Library cardholders will receive priority at registration.
Registration opens two weeks before each session takes place.
