    Coming Saturday, March 22, 2025. The Hillsdale Free Public Library seeks local artists, crafters, makers, and inventors for a one-day exhibition of creativity and craft. Please consider entering something in this community showcase.     Bowls and Woodland Creatures by Dave Franz Come check out the woodturning creations of the library’s own Dave Franz. The exhibit, which will be on display starting November 1 in the glass cases in the library’s lobby, includes bowls made from a variety of woods, including walnut and cherry. And just for fun, the bowls are surrounded by whimsical characters fashioned from natural materials and found objects.     Artist Reception: Saturday, November 9 – 2:00 to 4:00 pm Hillsdale Free Public Library invites you to an exhibition of oil paintings by Woodcliff Lakeresident, Lynn Massey from November 1st through November 30th in the main meeting room ofthe library. Massey began painting with oils as a young girl when she took art classes in the River Valestudio of muralist, Phillip Stein.
