PLANT SWAP AT HILLSDALE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Hillsdale Community Garden and Kids and Teens for Earth are hosting a plant swap outside the Hillsdale Library, located at 509 Hillsdale Avenue in Hillsdale, on Sunday, May 6, from 1:30pm-4pm. All are welcome to bring annuals and perennials to swap with other gardeners’ plants. Bring 3 plants, take home 3 plants, and so on…plants will also be available for purchase with coupons for sale at the event, in case you have no plants to swap.

It is suggested that you dig up plants from your garden a few days in advance, as plants dug up the same day or even the day before may be in shock and not look too good. They generally perk up in a couple of days. Also, we request you do not bring any invasive plants to swap. More information about invasive plants can be found at http://npsnj.org/www/invasive_species_0103.htm.
