In the near future, astronaut and science teacher Ryland Grace (played by Ryan Gosling) wakes from a coma, afflicted with amnesia. He gradually remembers that he was sent to a solar system 12 light-years from Earth to find a way to reverse a solar dimming event that could cause humanity’s extinction.
Project Hail Mary is based on the book of the same name by Andy Wier.
