On Exhibit in September – Creative in Nature

Nature surrounds us with creative inspiration every day. This selection of work by Michael Johnston uses the beauty of our seasons, countryside, and more to express a range of artistic concepts.

About the artist: Michael Johnston discovered the importance of art at an early age, exploring a range of pottery, photography, and drawing/painting classes and receiving helpful instruction at school. The pursuit of creativity became a lifelong passion in both his personal and professional life. Michael would spend 25 years as a creative in the advertising industry, the majority of the time working within the healthcare agency networks of McCann-Erickson and Ogilvy. He is happily retired from agency life and has fully returned to his artistic beginnings. Michael is thrilled to explore this creative avenue and work with those who are passionate about bringing artistry to life. His key influences include Van Gogh, Dali, and Basquiat.
