Now Collecting – Dog Shelter Drive

Donations accepted at library through September 30.

As her mitzvah project, Meredith – who will have her Bat Mitzvah next soring – has organized this dog shelter drive. She chose this project because animals (especially dogs) are close to her heart. You can support Meredith and her dog shelter by dropping off your donations during library hours at her donation box located at the first-floor entrance of the library.

Items most needed include:

  • New and gently used bedding and towels – cotton or fleece blankets, bed sheets, and bath towels
  • Laundry detergent
  • Bleach
  • Dawn dish soap
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet Paper
  • Paw safe ice melt
  • Standard printer paper
  • Organic peanut butter (without Xylitol)
  • Chicken jerky treats
  • “Pill” pockets
  • Heavy-duty stuffed dog toys
  • Large Kong or Kong wobblers (toys)

Please note that Milk Bone treats. rawhide treats, and treats not made in the USA cannot be accepted.
