
The New York Times – Digital Access
Hillsdale Free Public Library cardholders can access The New York Times from anywhere.
You are are not permitted to share the sign-on credentials with any other person.
Click The New York Times button above to claim your free 24-hour pass for digital access. Log in with your Hillsdale Free Public Library card number and PIN code. This will then take you to the NY Times login screen. Create an account and log in to start reading. At the end of your complimentary 24 hours, you can return to this page, click the button again, and log in again. There is no weekly or monthly limit to the number of passes you can claim.
Steps for Access
- Click The New York Times button
- Enter your library card number and PIN at the Patron Validation Gateway and hit submit.
- If you don’t have a nytimes.com account, you will need to create one on your first use.
- Already have a nytimes.com account? Simply log in with your email and password.
- You may be prompted to verify your email address.
- Decline any offers or ads to purchase a membership. This service is free for all Hillsdale Free Public Library card holders.
Redeeming Additional Passes
- Return to this page and click on the The New York Times button.
- Enter your library card number and PIN at the Patron Validation Gateway and hit submit.
- Log in to nytimes.com with your email and password.
- Redeem another 24-hour pass.
