The library’s Board of Trustees, the Friends of the Library, and the Hillsdale Free Public Library Foundation introduced the donor tree wall, located on the 1st floor hallway in November 2022.

Dylan Minneker, a 17-year-old Hillsdale resident and Life Scout in the Scouts BSA Troop 109, coordinated the fabrication and installation of the wall as his Eagle Scout service project. The wall was designed by Dave Franz, Library Director. The leaves, modelled after the sugar maple tree on the library property, are cut and etched using the library’s laser cutter/engraver.

To donate to the tree, use our Donor Leaf Form below.
